Subject for the prepared speech shall be selected by the contestant.  The speech must be substantially original and any quoted material must be so identified during the speech presentation.
Time: 5 to 7 minutes

A guest speaker will present a speech. At the conclusion of the speech, all contestants will leave the room and return one at a time to deliver their evaluations.
Time: 2 to 3 minutes

All contestants will leave the room and return one at a time to answer the same table topic question which shall be of a general nature.
Time: 2 minutes

Subject for the prepared speech shall be selected by the contestant.  The speech must be substantially original and any quoted material must be so identified during the speech presentation. The speech must be thematic in nature (opening, body and conclusion), not a monologue (series of one-liners).
Time: 5 to 7 minutes

Subject for the prepared speech shall be selected by the contestant.  The speech must be substantially original and any quoted material must be so identified during the speech presentation. The speech must be of a highly exaggerated, improbable nature and have a theme or plot.
Time: 3 to 5 minutes

This award is based on a members achievement of educational awards, contest participation and attendance at meetings and functions.

Every meeting the Master Evaluator presents the Achievement Award to a member who has "bettered their best".  At the end of the year the member who has received the most awards is recognised with the annual Achievement Award.
